The Deposition of Daniel Squibb< no role > of St Paul Covent Garden
Gentleman touching the Death of Lewis Lewis< no role > taken and
Acknowledged this 6th day of February 1755 .

Who Saith that on Monday the 3d day of February last
about 5 o Clock being at the King's head in James Street< no role > West
Covent Garden and was talking with the said Lewis Lewis< no role > and
at the same time one William Thomas< no role > [..] ran in followed
by John Rook< no role > and cutting at the said Thomas, and the said
Thomas cried out Lewis Lewis< no role > don't let the man Murther me
or to that effect, and the deced Lewis spoke to the said Rock and
bid him let the Man alone, That Rock thereupon said to
the deced Lewis [..] Damn You do you Speak to me, and
Immediately afterwards the said John Rock< no role > Struck the deceased
upon the left Shoulder, and another Blow on his left side, and
the deceased Lewis Rec'd against the Table and Cried Ok Lord
Ok Lord That the said Rock then struck the said Lewis
again & cut him on the right hand, That the said Rock
then Struck his Knife against the Table and broke the Blade
and Stoopt and Pick'd up the Handle part of it and that the
said Rock then made off, and this Informant endeavour'd
to Overtake him but Could not, and further saith not
