At the General Quarter Session of the Peace of our Sovereign Lord the King holden
for the County of Middx at Hicks Hall in Saint John Street in the County aforesaid by
adjournment on Thursday the twenty fourth day of October in the twenty eighth year of the
reign of our Sovereign Lord George the second King of Great Britain Etc.

It is Ordered by this Court that it be and it is hereby recommended and referred unto
his Majestys Justices of the Peace of this County or any three or more of them as a
Committee to meet together at Hicks Hall in Saint John Street on Monday the second
[..] day of December next at nine of the Clock in the Forenoon to inspect and audite [..]
Accounts of Mr. John Higgs< no role > Treasurer of the said County touching the moneys by
him received as Treasurer by virtue of the late Act of Parliament for the more easy
assessing collecting and levying of County Rates and of his Disbursements thereout
and also to inspect and audite the Accounts of the said Mr. Higgs as Treasurer of
the moneys by him received for the Rents of the Estates belonging to the said County
and of his Disbursements out of the same and to make a Computation and state
what Sum or Sums of money (or any) are remaining in the Hands of the said Treasurer
upon the Ballance of either of his said Accounts and to make Report in Writing
of the State of his aforesaid Accounts unto the Court at the next General Session of the
Peace to be holden for this County on the County day of the same Sessions.
