At the General Quarter Session of the Peace of our Sovereign Lord the King holden for the County
of Middx at Hicks Hall in St John Street in the County aforesaid by adjournment on Friday the twenty
fifth day of October in the twenty eighth Year of the reign of our Sovereign Lord George the second
King of Great Britain Etc before Thomas Lane< no role > George Errington< no role > John Dekewer< no role > William
Withers
< no role > Esquires and others their Fellows Justices of our said Lord the King assigned
to keep the Peace in the County aforesaid and also to hear and determine divers Felonies Trespasses
and other Misdeeds committed in the same County.

Whereas the Churchwardens and Overseers of the Poor of the Parish of Saint Mildred in
the Poultry London exhibited their humble Petition and Appeal unto this Court Setting forth
That by virtue of a Warrant or Order dated the fifteenth day of October One thousand
seven hundred and fifty four under the Hands and Seals of John Fielding< no role > Esqr. and Philip
Dyot
< no role > Esqr. two of his Majestys Justices of the Peace for the County of Middx one whereof
being of the Quorum Ann Dixon< no role > Wife of Richard Dixon< no role > and Mary< no role > their Child were
removed and conveyed out of the Parish of St. Giles in the Fields in the said County of Middx
to the said Parish of Saint Mildred in the Poultry as the Place of their last legal Settlement
by which the Petitioners received themselves aggrieved and appealed to this Court against the
same which Appeal was appointed to heard on this present Friday the twenty fifth day of
October instant Now for as much as this Court is of Opinion to have the hearing of the said
Appeal adjourned It is Ordered by this Court that the hearing and determining the Matter
of the said Appeal be and the same is hereby adjourned untill the next General Session of the
peace to be holden for the said County of Middx And that the Churchwardens and Overseers
of the Poor of the said Parish of Saint Giles in the Fields upon Notice of this order and
all Persons of the said County of Middx by adjournment on Thursday the Fifth
day of December next at ten of the Clock in the Forenoon to hear and abide the Judgement
and Determination of the same Court touching the said Appeal.
