General Quarter Session of the Peace Assembled

The humble Petition and Appeal of the
Churchwardens and Overseers of the the Poor of the
parish of St. Matthew Bethnal Green in the County
of Middlesex

Sheweth

That by virtue of a Warrant or Order of Removal
under the hands and Seals of Thomas Quarrill< no role > Esqr. and Sr.
Samuel Gower< no role > knt. two of his Majestys Justices of the Peace
for the County of Middex aforesaid bearing date the fourteenth
day of September last Jane Crumpler< no role > Wife of Thomas Crumpler< no role >
(who in the said Order is Say'd to be gone away from her and not
to be found) and their Child Named Thomas< no role > Aged two Years and
upwards were Removed from the Parish of St. Leonard Shoreditch
in the said County Middlesex to the said Parish of St.
Matthew Bethnal Green as the Place of their legal Settlemt.

That Your Petitioners and Appellants apprehending
themselves Aggrieved by the aforesaid Order of the said two
Justices Do humbly Appeal to this Court against the same

Your Petitioners and Appellants
therefore pray that this Court will appoint
a Day this Present Session for the Churchwardens
and Overseers of the Poor of the Parish of
St. Leonard Shoreditch aforesaid and all persons
concerned to Attend this Court to hear and
abide the Judgment and Determination of this
Court touching the said Appeal.
