Mr. Lawson and Mr. Lane of Council for the said Respondents [..] and upon Cons [..]
had of the said Report and examining into the premisses This Court in of Opinion to quash and vacate and doth accordingly
quash and vacate the said Rates and the same are hereby quashed and vacated accordingly
And this Court is also of Opinion that the Appointment of the said John Kebbell< no role > [..] Philip Splidt< no role >
Francis Robson< no role > and Edward Fox< no role > and also the Appointment of the said John Wilson< no role >
Henry Smith< no role > James Covey< no role > and David Nesbitt< no role > to be Overseers of the Poor of the said
Parish of Saint George are void illegal and doth thereupon quash and vacate the
same Appointments and the same are hereby quashed and vacated accordingly And
this Court doth nominate and appoint John Wilson< no role > Philip Splidt< no role > Henry Smith< no role > and
Francis Robson< no role > to be Overseers of the Poor of the said Parish for the Current year
And doth order that the Account of what has been collected received paid or disbursed
under the said Rates or by any of the said Psons so appointed Overseers under in pursuance of such appointments be and the same is hereby referred into Boulton Mainwaring< no role >
and Christopher Scott< no role > Esquires two of his Majestys Justices of the Peace for the said
County to settle and adjust the same and that the Ballance (if any there be) be paid
over to Henry Ripp< no role > the Junior Churchwarden who has already according to the Custom of the said
Parish been appointed Expenditor And that the said John Wilson< no role > Philip Splidt< no role > Henry Smith< no role > and Francis
Robson
< no role > with the Assistance of the Churchwardens of the said Parish do forth with
make a New just and equal Rate or Rates upon all and every the Occupies of Lands Houses and
Gardens within the said two Divisions of the said Parish for & [..] towards that necessary relief & maintenance of the Poor of the same Parish to be confirmed as the
Law directs And that the Costs and Expences of the said Appeals be paid out of the
General Stock or Fund of the said Parish.
