To the Constables of theParish of St. Giles in the fields
in the County of Middlesex , and also
to all Constables and other Officers, whom it may
concern to receive and convey; and to the Church-
wardens, Chapel-wardens, or Overseers of the Poor
ofthe Parish of St. James in Bury St. Edmunds
in theCountyofSuffolk
or either of them, to receive and obey.

aged four Years & Jane< no role > aged two years was
apprehended in the said Parish ofSt. Giles in the fields
asaRogue and Vagabond Viz.Wandring
& begging there
and upon Examination of the saidMary< no role >
taken before Me upon Oath (which
Examination is hereunto annexed) it doth appear thatthe Plairs
of their last legall Settlemt. is in the Parish of St.
James in the town of Bury St. Edmunds in the County
of Suffolk

THESE are therefore to require you the Constables of the said
Parish ofSt. Giles in the feilds
to convey the said
Mary [..] & Children
to thePishofWestham in the County ofEssex .
that being the firstPlacein the next Precinct through which
theyought to pass in the direct Way toBury St. Edmunds
aforesdto whichthey areto be sent:
And to deliverthemto the Constable or other Officer of the said,
[..] ofWesthamtogether with this Pass, and the Duplicate
of the Examination of the saidMarytaking his
Receipt for the same: And the saidMary & Children
to be thence conveyed on
in like manner toBury St. Edmund aforesd
there to be delivered to some Church-warden, Chapel-warden, or
Overseer of the Poor of the same Place, to be there provided for
according to Law: And you the said Church-wardens, Chapel-
wardens, or Overseers of the Poor are hereby required to receive
the said Person. and Provide forthemas aforesaid.
