To the Right Worshipfull His Majesties
Justices of the Peace for the County of Middlesex
in their General Quarter Sessions of the Peace holden
for the said County at Hicks Hall Assembled

The Humble Petition and appeal of the
Churchwardens and Overseers of the poor of the
Parish of Stains in the County of Middlesex

Sheweth


That by Virtue of a Pass Warrant or Order of
removal under the Hands and Seals of Sir Joseph Ayloffe
Houlding
< no role > Baronet and Thomas Bennett< no role > Esquire two of his Majesties Justices
of the Peace for the city and Liberty of Westminster for the Countyof Middlesex aforesaid (one
whereof being of the Quorum) bearing Date the Sixteenth
Day of August One Thousand Seven Hundred and Fifty
four made for the removal of Elizabeth Collier< no role > Spinster
in the Said Pass Warrant or Order mentioned from the
Parish of St. Margaret in the City of Westminser in the Said
County of Middlesex to the Said Parish of Stains as the
Place of her last Legal Settlement

That Your Petitioners Apprehend themselves
Aggrieved by the Said Pass Warrant or Order and the
Judgment of the Said two Justices And Do therefore
Humbly Appeal to this Court against the Same

Your Petitioners Therefore Humbly
Pray That this Court will be pleased to appoint
a Day to hear and Determine the Matter
Touching their Said Appeal and that all partys
Concerned may then Attend

And Your Petitioners Shall Ever Pray Etc
