At the GeneralQuarterSession of the peace of our Sovereign Lord the
King holden for the County of middx at Hicks hall in St. John Street in
in the County aforesaid by adjornment on Thursday the Sixth day of
December in the twenty seventh year of the reign of our Sovereign
Lord George the second King of Great Britain & before Luke Robinson< no role >
Thomas Lane< no role > George Brington< no role > and John Deweker< no role > . and other their-
Fellows Justices of our said the King assigned to keep the peace in
the County aforesaid and also to hear and determine divers Felonies-
Trespasses and other Misdeeds committed in the same County.

Upon hearing the appeal of the Churchwardens and Overseers of
the poor of the parish of St. James Clerkenwell in the County of Middx
against a Pass Warrant or Order under the hands and Seals of John
Fielding< no role > and Benjamin Cox< no role > Esquires two of his Majestys Justices
of the peace for the [..] City and Liberty of Westmr .
in the County of Middx (one whereof being of the Quorum) bearing
date the fifth day of November last, where by Mary Dearing< no role >
Singlewoman was removed from the parish of St. Martin in the
Fields within the Liberty and County aforesaid to the said parish-
of St. James Clerkenwell as the place of her last legal Settlement
Now upon hearing of what was alledged by Mr.Pheediris ofMr. phedris
of Councel for the Churchwardens and Overseers of the poor of the
said parish of St. James Clerkenwell This Court by Consent of Mr. Jones
of Councel for the Churchwardens and Overseers of the poor of the
said parish of St. Martin in the fields doth allow of the said appeal
and doth vacate and discharge the aforesaid Order of Removal-
and the same is hereby vacated and discharged accordingly And-
this court doth Order that the Overseers of the poor of the said
parish of St. James Clerkenwell do forthwith convey and deliver
the said Mary Dearing< no role > to the Churchwardens and Overseers of the
the poor of the said parish of St. Martin in the Fields or one of them
with a Copy of this Order who are hereby required to recieve [..]
her [..] into their Care and to provide for her as for other poor at the
Charge of the Inhabitants of the said parish of St. Martin in the
fields until they can free themselves from the Charge thereof by due
Course of Law.
