Acquaintance with him as a Customer, upon which the said Allen
Latty

two guineas upon his Watch, which he did Accordingly, and the said
Allen Latty otherwise John Smith< no role > at the same time told this
Informant that his name was John Smith< no role >

Alexander Kennedy< no role > being upon oath says that he was in
Company with Allen Latty otherwise John Smith< no role > and John Hamilton< no role > on Sunday last
was Sennight, and that about five o Clock in the afternoon, the
said Allen Latty otherwise John Smith< no role > and John Hamilton< no role > Parted
with this Informant in St. Giles's , when the said Allen Latty
otherwise John Smith< no role > said to the said John Hamilton< no role > , we
have Promised to Meet an Acquaintance at five o Clock
and must go, and Accordingly went away and further says that the
next Day the said Allen Latty otherwise John Smith< no role > brought this Informt. a Watch & Desired him
to go along with the said Latty to Pawn [..] it,
