on the prosecution of James Gilbert< no role > for
feloniously stealing a China bowl his property.

To move to discharge the bider of April Session last for
estreating the Recoginzance of James Price< no role >

In March 1753 Mr. Price was bornd in a Recognizance before Sir
Saml: Gower< no role > to give Evidence at the then next Session to be held for the
County of Middx agt: the Deft Hall for the above Felony.

Price attended accordingly at Hicks hall to have given Evidence
to the Grand Jury on 2d: of May last, but not knowing the Proseuctor &
after waiting there sometime, he upon Enquiry was informed the Bill
was formd & sent to the Old Bailey , whereupon he imediately went
to the Old Bailey & waited at the Door of the Court there a considerable
time (for he could not get Admittance into Court) may during the time
of the Defts trial & mild it was over, & had he heard himself called
was then ready to have given Evidence, But the Prosecutors Wife
Swearing (as appears by the printed Trial) that Mr: Price was not
there, the Court ordered his Recognizance to be estreated
