And to the Church-Wardens, Chapel-Wardens, or Overseer
of the Poor of the Parish, Place or Precinct ofAshford
in theCountyofKent
or either of them to receive and obey

WHEREASAnn Standfast< no role > This name instance is in set 3555. Singlewoman
was
apprehended in thesd. ParishofSt. Clemt. Danes
as aRogue andVagabond, (videlicet)Wandering & begging

and upon Examination of the saidAnn Stand fast
taken beforemeupon Oath (which
Examination is hereunto annexed) it doth appear thatthe Place of
her last legal Settlement is in the Parish of
Ashford in the County of Kent aforesaid

These are therefore to require you the said Constable or other Officer
to Convey the saidAnn Standfast

to theParish of St. Dunstand in the west Londonthat being the first
Parishin the next Precinct thro' whichsheought to pass in the
direct Way to the saidParishofAshford to which
she isto be sent and to deliverherto the Constable or
other Officer of suchParishin such next Precinct, together with this
Pass, and the Duplicate of the Examination of the saidAnn Stand fast
taking his Receipt for the same. And the saidAnn Stand fast
isto be thence conveyed on in the like Manner to
the saidParish [..] Ashford there to be delivered to some Church-
Warden, Chapel-Warden, and Overseer of the Poor of the sameParish
,to be there provided for according to Law. And you the said Church-
Wardens, Chapel-Wardens, and Overseers of the Poor, are hereby required
to receive the said Person and provide forheras aforesaid. Given un-
