The Examination & Confession
of Elizabeth Williams< no role > taken
before me George Lord Capeit [..]
one of His Majestys
Justices of ye peace that 26th
day of Novembr. 1746

Who being Charged with feloniously
stealing from out of ye house of Mr.
Southerton Austin< no role > Master of ye Brawnd
head Tavern in New Bond that sevl.
Goods, such as Silver handled Knives
& fork is perstn plates Dishes some China [..]
Table Saucer Silver Spoons Glasses &
within these three Months past,

She Saith That she was a Servant to [..]
said Mr. Austin for about three Months
past & went from ye sd. Service 16t. Ten [..]
days agoe to her Lodging in old Burleast
Street in ye parish of St. James , That
whilit she was in ye sd. Serve she took
a large silver spoon of her Masters one
silver Tea spoon two silver Desert Knive
& forks one Table Cloths three Drinking
Glasses. which several things being she [..] 'd
to her, she Admits to be ye Goods stole [..]
a aforesaid & by her Carried to her
Lodgings aforesaid & there seized by Constabl [..]
further saith she intended to Keep ye said
Goods for her own Due
