At the General Quarter Session of the peace of our sovereign Lord
the king holden for the County of Middx at Hicks hall in St. John
Street in the County aforesaid by adjornment on Thursday the
thirteenth day of January in the sixteenth year of the reign of
our sovereign Lord George the second King of Great Britain Etc

Whereas by a Report of Sr. Joseph Ayloffe Houlding< no role > Bart. James
Clitherow
< no role > Esquire & John Paulson< no role > Esquire three of this Majesty's
Justices of the peace of this County being a Quorum of the
Committee of Justices of the peace for the said County to whom
It was referred by an Order of Sessions of the Ninth day of
December last to consider of the Demands of work men of mondays
due to them for work [..] done at Brentford Bridge and to state &
adjust what was due to dash person respectively It appeareth
to this Court (among St other matters there in mentioned that
the said three Justices met together in presented of the said
Order, And that Mr. John Wilkins< no role > Pation attended them
and desired that the sum of £228.19s.10d. being the amount of
his bill due to him for pating Brentford Bridge Etc being
included in a sum of one thousand five hundred and eighty
pounds seven shillings and four peace mentioned in the
said Report [..] as due to Mr. Dunne & Mr. Mary nand the
Contractors for building the said Bridge may be paid to him
the said John Wilkins< no role > by the County Treasurer, and not to
Mr. Dunne & Mr. Marqu and as part of their Demand, And
that the said Committee are of opinion that the same ought
to be done according by, and to be abstracted from their said
demand, this Court Doth agree to that part of the Sd. Report
And doth Order that Mr. John Higgs< no role > Treasurer of this County
do as money comes to his hands pay the said sum of two hundred
twenty eight pounds nineteen shillings and ten peace unto the
Sd. John Wilkins< no role > in full of his demand for materials & parting
work by him done at Brentford Bridge afore said, And that the
said sum be allowed to the said Treasurer upon his amount
