Quarter Sessions assembled
To Rept of his Majties. Justices of the Peace
appointed to take the accts. of the Treors
& High Constables
of this County have taken into Consideration the within mentioned
Peticon to us referred by the within mentioned order And Do Certifye That there doth
not appear to us any Certificate of allowances from any one of his Majties Justices of
the peace
for this County for the passing of any Vagrant as the Law in such case
directs And It appears, to us that the Demands of the sd Petr. are 13 Yres age And
yor Comittee not Seeing the accts. of those times It does not appear to us but those
Certificates were allowed & paid 13 yres ago therefore yor Comittee Conceives that the
sd Petr ought not to be allowed & paid what he prayes by his peticon all wth we
humbly Submitt to the Judgmt. of this Honable Court Dated this 4th October 1736.

At the General Quarter Session of the peace of our Sovereign Lord
the King holden for the County of Middx
at Hicks hall
in St. John
Street
in the County aforesaid by adjornment on Thursday the
fifteenth day of January inthe ninth yeare of the reign of our
Sovereign Lord George the-Second King of Great Britain Etc
It is Ordered by this Court that it be And It is hereby recomended &
referred unto his Maties Justices of the Peace
for this County
or anappointed to take the accounts of the Treasurers of the said
County or any three or more of them to peruse & inspect the certificates
given to the Petr. for his trouble & expences in passing & releiving
of Vagrants, and to inquire if the Vagrants therein mentioned were
regularly passed, and to examine if the sums allowed to the Petr. by
the said certificates such service are just & reasonable and such as ought to be
allowed, or if overcharged and how much, and to certify what
in their opinion is justly due to the Petr. for the said service unto the
Court of General Quarter or. General Sessions of the peace for this
County to the end such further Order may be made as the Court
shall in that behalf think proper,
