At the General Quarter Session of the peace of our sovereign
Lord the King holden for the County of Middx at Hicks hall in Saint
John Street in the County aforesaid on Monday the in the week next
after the Feast of the Epihany (to witt) the twelfth day of January
in the ninth years of reign of our sovereign Lord George
the second King of Great Britain France and Ireland Defender of
the Faith before Richard Newton< no role > Anthony Chamberlain< no role > William
Booth
< no role > Nathaniel Chandler< no role > Esquires & other their Fellows Justices of
our said Lord the King assigned to keep the peace in the County
aforesaid and also to heare & determine divers felonys trespasses and
other misdeeds committed in the same County,

Whereas the Churchwardens & Overseers of the poor of the parish of
St.Noades [..] in the County of Huntingdon have exhibited their humble
petition & appeale unto this Court settingforth that by virtue
ofana warrant or Order under the hands & seales of two of his Maties Justices of
the peace for the County of Middx (one beingwhereof one is of the Quorum) bearing
date the twentyeth day of December in the yeare of our Lord
one thousand seven hundred and thirty five Elizabeth< no role > the wife
of James Magayer and her two children (that is to say) Thomas
aged eleven yeares and Elizabeth aged seven years the lawfull
Issue of the said James Magayer< no role > & Elizabeth his wife were
removed from the parish of Christ Church in the said County of
Middx to the said parish of St. Neotts called in the said warrant or Order the parish of Saint Noades in the County of Huntingdon
as the place of their last legal settlement, whereby the Petrs. conceive
themselves aggreived, and against the said warrant or Order do appeale to
this Court, whereupon at the request of the Petrs. It is ordered by this
Court, that the benifit of the said appeale be saved unto the Petrs.
And that the hearing & determining thereof be and the same is
hereby adjorned untill the next general Session of the peace to be
holden for the said County of Middx, And that the Churchwardens &
Overseers of the poor of the said parish of Christ Church (Upon notice
of this Order) and all persons concerned do attend the Court of the
said next General Session of the peace to be holden for the sd. County
of Middx by adjornment on Tuesday the twenty fourth day of
February next at ten of the clock in the forenoon to heare & abide
the Judgment & determination of the same Court touching the sd.
