Parish of Hornsey
in the Countyof Middlesex
and to the Church-wardens and Overseers of the Poor of the
Parish of Tottenham High Cross

Whereas Complaint hath been made by you the Church-Wardens
and Overseers of the Poor of the said Parish of Hornsey
unto us whose Hands
and Seals are hereunto set, two of his Majesty's Justices of the Peace
(whereof one is of the Quorum) for the County aforesaid,
That Ann Bouts< no role > Aged about Ten Years and Sarah
Bouts
< no role > aged about four Years daughter of Richard
Bouts
< no role > [..] late of the Parish of Tottenham High Cross
aforesaid have
lately intruded themselves into your said Parish of Hornsey
there to inhabit as Parishioners contrary to the Laws relating to
the Settlement of the Poor, and arethere like to become charge
able, if not timely prevented: And Whereas upon due Examination
and Enquiry made into the Premises, As also upon the Oath
of Catherine Bouts< no role > their Aunt
it appears unto us, and we accordingly adjudge, That the said
Ann Bouts< no role > and Sarah Bouts are

like to become chargeable unto the said Parish of Hornsey
and that the last legal Place of
Settlement of the said Richard Bouts< no role >
is in the said Parish of
Tottenham High Cross

These are therefore, in his Majesty's Name, to order and require you
the said Church-wardens and Overseers of the Poor of the Parish of
Hornsey aforesaid, that you
or some of you, do forthwith remove and convey the said Ann
Bouts
< no role > and Sarah Bouts< no role >

to the said Parish of Tottenham
High Cross and themdeliver
to the Church-wardens and Overseers of the Poor, there, or some or
one of them, together with this our Warrant, or Order, or a true
Copy hereof; whereby they are likewise required in his Majesty's
Name, and by Virtue of the Statues in such Case made, forthwith to
receive the said Ann Bouts< no role > and Sarah Bouts< no role >

into their said parishand provide for them
as their own Parishioners Given under our Hands and Seals, the
SixteenthDay of November in the Year of our
Lord One Thousand Seven Hundred and thirty three
