To the Chappel wardens and Overseer of the Poor of the
Precinct ofSt John Baptist in the Savoy
in theCountyofMiddlesex
and to the Church-wardens and
Overseers of thepeace of the Parish of St Botolph without
Bishopsgate London and to oath and every of
them
Whereas Complaint hath been made by you the Chappel warden
and Overseer of the Poor of the saidPrecinct of St John
Baptistunto us whole Hands
and Seals are hereunto set, two of his Majesty's Justices of the Peace
(Quorum unus) for theCountyaforesaid, ThatWilliam
Millet

latelybrought and leftinyour saidPrecinct
of St John Baptist
there to inhabit asParishioners contrary to the Laws relat-
ing to the Settlement of the Poor, andarethere like to be-
come chargeable, if not timely prevented: And whereas, Upon due
Examination and Enquiry made into the Premises, as also upon
Oath and other Cirumstances
it appears unto us, and we accordingly adjudge, That the said
William Millet< no role > and Harry Charles Millet are
likely to become chargeable unto the saidPrecinct of St John
Baptistand that the last legal Place of
Settlement of the saidNicholas Millet< no role >
is in the said Parish of
St. Botolph without Bishopsgate London
These are therefore, in his Majefty's Name, to order and require you
the said Chappel warden and Overseer of the poor of the
St. John Baptist in the Savoy aforesaid, that you,
or Some of you, do forthwith remove and convey the saidWilliam
Millet

from your saidPrecinet of St. John Baptist
in the Savoy to the said Parish ofSt. Botolph without
Bishopsgate [..] [..] the
to the Church-wardens and Overseers of the Poor, there, or Some or
one of them, together with this our Warrant, or Order, or a true
Copy hereof; whereby they are likewife required in his Majesty's
Name, and by Virtue of the Statutes in such Cafe made, forthwith to
receive the saidWilliam Millet< no role > and Harry Charles

into their saidParish & Careand provide forthem
as their own Parishoners Other under our Hands and Seals, the
