WHEREAS it appeareth unto Us, whose Hands and Seals
are hereunto set, Two ofhisMajesties Justices of the
Peace for theCounty
(Quorum unus) upon the Complaint of the Church-Wardens and Over-
seers of the Poor of the Parish ofSt. Mary Islington
in the said County.thatEdward Browne< no role > , Katherine< no role >
his wife, Ellanor< no role > aged about five yeares and a halfe
old And Thomas< no role > aged about three quarter of a
year old his Children
arelately come into the said Parish, endeavouring to Settle
themselvesthere without giving Notice in Writing to the said
Church-Wardens, or Overseers of the Poor, or any one of them, of the
House oftheirabode in the said Parish, according to
the Statute in that Case made and provided; And that the saidEdward
Browne

likely to become chargeable to the said Parish:which we adjudge to be tureAnd whereas it appeareth
unto us,the said Justices upon the Oathe of the Said

thathe waslast legally settled in the Parish of St
Lawrence Jewry London And no other legall Settlement
elsewhere appearing virto as Since We doe alsoe adjudge the
last legall Settlement of the Said Edward Browne< no role > to be
in the Said parish of St Lawrence Jewry London
These are therefore inhisMajesties Name Strictly to Charge and Com-
mand you and every of you, forthwith upon sight hereof to remove and
convey the saidEdward Browne< no role > , Eliz< no role > : his wife Elloner< no role > & Thomas< no role >
his Childrenfrom the said Parish ofSt. Mary Islington
in the said County.to the said Parish of St. Lawrence
Jewry London
and deliverthemunto the Church-Wardens and Overseers of the
Poor there, who are hereby required to provide forthem
according to Law: Hereof fall not at your perits. Given under our Hands
and Seals, thetwelfth.day ofMarchin the11th.Year
