Whereas by reason of the great concourse of his Maties Subjects resort
and applyeing to this court to take the Oathes in pusuance of the late [..]
of Parliament made in the Ninth yeare of his now Maties reign in
to preveat their reall Estates from being forfitted, severall persons Indict [..]
for Misdemeanours & bound by recognizances to try their traverses upon
such Indictmts at this present Sessions have been obstructed & hindred from
tryeing the same, And others (who have forfeild their recognizances
not appearing at the sessions of the peace for this County to answer
for the Offences for which they were by such recognizances bound to
appeare at such Sessions) have been prevented from applyeing to this
Court to obtaine A Respite of such for fitted Recognizances as hath
been usually done in an October Sessions to prevent the same
from being Extracted into his Maties Court of Exchequer, It is
thought fit and Ordered by this Court that Recognizances taken
for the Appearance of any persons Indicted for Misdemeanours to
try their traverses at this present sessions upon such Indictmts. shall be
respitted untill the next General Sessions of the peace to be hold [..]
for this County, And that the Recognizances taken for the Apper [..]
of any persons at any former [..] Sessions to try their traverses upon Indictments
against them and of others to appeare & Answer there for any Misdemeanour or
Misdemeanours for which they alsoe stand Indicted shall upon
Applicacon to the Clerk of the peace of this County or his Deputy
be respitted untill the next Generall Sessions of the peace to be
held for this County, And that the forfitted Recognizances of any
person or persons who were thereby bound to appeare & answer
at the Sessions for any Misdemenour or Misdemeanours for which
they are not Indicted shall upon such Applicacon be respitted
untill the Court shall further Order to the contrary.
