Upon reading the humble peticon of Mary Crawford< no role >
exhibited unto this Court setting forth that she standing
Indicted in this Court employed one Mr. John Nuby< no role > of St.
John's Wapping to be her Sollicitor to assist her in traverseing
the said Indictmt. for which the said Nuby hath brought
the Petr. in a bill of five pounds seventeen Shillings and
eleven pence, which bill the petr is informed to be very
unreasonable & exorbitant, It was therefore prayed by the
Petr. that this Court would be pleased to Order that the
aforesaid bill may be taxed by the Clerke of the peace of
this County Where upon It is thought fit and Ordered by this
Court that it be And It is hereby referred unto Robert
Hardisty
< no role > Gentm Deputy Clerke of the peace of this County to
tax the aforesaid bill of costs of the said John Nuby and
to moderate the same (if Unreasonable) as he shall think just
And for that purpose the said John Nuby is hereby required
to attend the said Robert Hardisty< no role > at such times & places as he
shall appoint
