To the Right Worshipfull his Maties Justices of
the peace for the County of Middlesex

The Humble petition of Jacob Wilkins< no role > of St Catherines
near the Tower of Londn. in the said County Marriner

Sheweth

That your petitioner lost his legg and half his thigh in
an Action on board the Sea horse Man of Warr in the
Year one Thousand Seaven hundred and two and having-
a wife and four Small Children [..] by which loss and the
great charge of his family and being out all manner
of buisness is rendred thereby to extream poverty and
want

He therefore humbly prays your Worships the
Consideration thereof and being an object of pity
to grant him among others a certain same or
County pention towards the support of himself
and poor family and as in duty bound shall ever
pray Etc

Wee whose hands are here und set Inhabitants of St Catherines aforesaid
do hereby Certifye and recommend the above petitioner to be and object
of Charity and beleive the above petition to be very true
