Whereas great numbers of idle Psous & Psons of loose
conversacon doe daily goe abt. in the foot paths, publique streets,
lanes & open passages & places within weekly bills of
mortality in this County wth. wheelbarrows wherein they
carry Oysters, oranges, decayed choose, apples, nutts, gingerbrend
& other wares to sell, and doe expose the sd. goods to sale, and
utter & sell the Same fraudulently sometimes by false
weights & measures, and carry wth. them dice & encourage
unwary Passengers & children to play wth. their sd. dice for
some of such their goods, and use other unlawfull meanes
& practices whereby they defraud severall of his
Maties. Subjects in putting off such their sd goods & wares to
the greatfrauddeceipt & oppression of Such Subjects, and by
driveing & standing still wth. their wheel barrows in
the sd footpaths, streets, lanes & open passages & places to
sell & put off their goods carryed therein as aforesd. doe
greatly hinder & obstruct all his Maties. Subjects goeing
travelling & passing in & through the sd foot paths street
lanes & open passages & places within the weekly bills of mortality in the County abt. their
necessary occasions & busyness, And whereas divers
other idle psous of loose conversacon doe daily & particularly on the Lords day [..] wander about ingoe abt.the sd.
