These are to Certify all whom it may concern that
the bearer hereof James Robinson< no role > of the parish of
St Giles in the fields in the County of Middx Hempdresser
now is, and for many years past hath been a House
Keeper where he has behaved himself honestly and
cieilly amongst his neighbours, and has served senall
parochial Offices in the parish, And now the Office
or place of Governor of the house of correction at
Clerkenwell in the said County being vacant by
the death of Capt Boreman late Governor
Wee the Minister Churchwardens Overseers of the poor
of the said parish and other Inhabitants thereof
doe hereby recomend the said James Robinson< no role > as
a persent fitly quallified to execute the said Office
In Testimony whereof wee have hereunto Sett our
hands this 30th day of November Anno Dui 1714
