Upon heareing the appeale of the Chappell warden and
Overseer of the poor of the precinct of the Savoy in the
strand in this County against an Order under the hands
& seales of John Roydhouse< no role > & William Com< no role > Esqrs. two of her
Maties. Justices of the peace for the City & Liberty of Westmr
in this County (Quorum Unns) beareing date the thirty
first day of March last whereby Catharine Mackmanious
Eyckmans
< no role > (widow of william mackmanious Eyckmans< no role > ) who
was become chargeable to the parish of St. Martin in the=
fields in the said City & Liberty of Westmr. in the same
County was removed from the said parish of St. Martin
in the fields to the said Precinct of the Savoy in the strand
Upon pretence that it appeared unto the said two Justices
of the peace upon examinacon taken before them upon
oath that the said william mackmanious Eyckmans< no role > was
last legally settled in the parish of St. Mary le Savoy als be
strand in the said County in the precincts thereof, and that
they could [..] not find that the said Catharine Mackmanious
Eyckmans
< no role > his widdow had gained any legall settlemt.
since his death, and that the sd. Justices did adjudge the
said parish of st. Mary le Savoy als le strand to be the
parish and place of the last legall settlemt. of the said
Catharine Mackmanious Eyckmans< no role > , (the heareing and
determining of which appeale was by Order made at the
last Generall Quarter Sessions of the peace held for this County
by adjormnt. on Thursday the eighth day of April last
adjorned untill the Generall Sessions of the peace held for
this County on Tuesday the eleventh day of may instant ,
