To her Maties Justices of the peace for the
County of Middx

The humble Peticon of Joseph Wishall< no role >
and Edward Boswell< no role > Churchwardens of
the parish of St. Giles in the fields in
the said County

Sheweth


That the Highwayes in the said parish are very
much out of repair and will require a considerable sume
of money to repair and amend the same which cannot
be raised without the aid of this Honble Court

Yor Petr therefore humbly pray that a Rate
or Assessment may be made upon the
Jnticants of the said parish not exceeding
three half pend in the pound for repairing
the highwayes there according to the direccons
of the Act of Parliamt lately made to be
collected by the prsent Surveyors of the
Highwayes in the said parish And that
the money to be collected on the said Rate
be employed and laid out as the Justices
of the peace of this County usually meeting
at the speciall sessions in the said parish
shall direct & appoint

And yor. Petr. shall ever pray Etc
