County of Middx ye 18th. day of Aprill
Anno Din 1709.

Who saith that on Fryday ye. 18 day of March
last about two of the Clock in ye Afternoon of
the same day he this Informt. went into one Mr.
Millers Shop An Musicall Instrument maker
on London Bridge & had wth. him twelve yards & one halfe of Lute
String wth. he layd upon A Stoole in the in the said
Shop & Saith that soon after he had been in
the Shop he must the said Silk Lute String &
Saith that A Boy & two young Woemen
came into the Shop to Buy as they prtended
Some Strings which they could not agree for
& Saith that he verily believeth that they
caryed the Silk Lute String wth. them noe
body besides them comeing into the said Shop whilst
this Depont. Staid.
