Whereas Complt hath been made unto up whose
hands & Seales are hereunto Sett two of his Maties; Justices
of the Peace of the County of Midds (Quorum Unus) by the
Churchwardens and Overseers of the Poore of the parish
of St. Andrew Holborne in the Sd. County that a Young
female Childe Aged about three Yeares named
Alice Rudjard< no role > heis lately brought into the Sd.
prise without any notice given of ye Same to the Sd.
Churchwardens & Overseers of the Poore or any one of
them and that if She is not Speedily Removed She is
likely to become Chargeable to the Sd prise And
Whereas it appeares unto us the Sd. Justices upon
the Oath of Isabella Bateman< no role > that the Said
female Child in the Daughter of Benjamin Rudjard< no role >
(andAlice Anne Rudjard< no role > and his wife late of the prise of St. Dunstans the
West in the Citty of London and that the Said Child was
borne in the Said prise, These are therefore in his Maties
name to will and require You forthwith upon Sight
hereof to Remove and Convey the Said Alice Rudjard
from the Sd. prise of St. Andrews Holborne in the Sd. County
and So from Conble, to Conble, the next and directest was to the
Said parish of St. Dunstans the West in the Citty of London
and Deliver her unto the Churchwardens and Overseers
of the Poore there who are hereby required to provide for
her According to Law hereof faile not at Yours yills
Given under our hands & seales the 2d. day of March 1696/7
