Upon wading the humble peticon of the Lewall Churchwardns
& Inhabitants of Bow
and Bromley
in this County
exhibited unto this Court thereby she wing that a new
watchhouse hath been lately built in the great road
between Bowe
and Mile end
for the better Security of
Passengers from theives and Highwaymen who used
to lurk in and about Bearbinder lane
& commit it wall
robberys in and near the Said road, and that the
charge of a sufficient watch there will be see great
that the peticonrs cannot defray the same without
further help and praying that this Court would order
the Inhabitants of the Hamblett of Milend to
contribute to the said watch as this Court should
think fitt Itt is therefore thought fitt & ordered by
this Court that itt be and itt is hereby recommended
& referred to the Rt Honble the Lord Lucas Governer of
the Tower of London

the peace for this County inhabiting in the Tower
division
in this County or such & see many of them
as shall be psent att the next [..] Petty Sessions to
