Upon reading the humble petison of Severall of the Chieff & ancient
Inhabitants of the Pish of St: Leonards Shoredich in this County Exhibited
unto this Court therby Shewing that Psuant to the late [..] man
for the bettr: Settlement of the poore noe pson Should recevin.
Colleccon att the Charge of the Pish but by authority under the hand
of one Justice of the peace ther or near resideing on by Ordr. of the
Justice in ther Quartr. Sissions, and for as much as the Casuall poore
within the sd pish were not Setld [..] Psuant to the said Art, the petisonr
Prayed that Henry Headworth< no role > , & Edmond Linford< no role > for Hopton and
Church End Liberty Francis Enerson< no role > for moor fields librty . William

< no role > for Long alley & Nakam Crossly< no role > & Mr Mellish For
Halliwell Librty in the said pish, might bee appoynted by this Court
to Direct & Order the Churchwardens of the said pish for the time being
what monyes They shall from time to time prey to the casuall poor
within the said pish, Itt is thought fitt & ordr: by this Court
that the said Henry Headworth< no role > , Edmond Lydgold< no role > Francis Emerson< no role >
Willm. Hornblower< no role > Nakam Crosly< no role > & Mr Mellish bee And they are
hereby apppoynted Assistants to the said Church wardens off
the said pish & vouchers of the moneys Expended for reliese
of the poor of the said pish And the said Churchwardens
together with the said Henry Headworth< no role > , Edmond Lydgold< no role >
Francis Emersson,< no role > Mr: Hornblower, Nakam Crosly< no role > & Mr Mellish
are hereby ordred. to give an accott. in Writing to the Justices of
the peace inhabiting in or near the said Pish monthly or
att thir petty Sessions of what Psuant are fitting to [..]
