Septr.. 15th .

General or General Quarter Sessions of the Peace holden or to be holden
within the said County or any Prisoner or Prisoners committed or to be
committed to the Custody of the said Thomas Hopkins< no role > as Keeper or
Governor of the said House of Correction for any Offence or Offences by
them committed and which shall or without his or their wilfull Default
may at any times be received by him or his Servant or Servants during
such time as the said Thomas Hopkins< no role > shall continue Governor or
Keeper of the said House of Correction And also that he the said Thomas
Hopkins his Executors and Administrators do and shall likewise well
and truly Account with and pay or Cause to be Paid unto the Clerk
of the Peace of the said County for the time being or his Deputy all
such Fees as the said Thomas Hopkins< no role > or his respective Servant or
Servants shall or without his or their wilfull Default may during
the time he shall continue Governor or Keeper of the said House of
Correction receive for the use of the said Clerk of the Peace of any
Prisoner or Prisoners committed or to be committed to the said House
of Correction and also Allow unto the Matron of the said House of
Correction for the time being the Apartment therein formerly and now
Allowed to the Matrons thereof and that in Case the said Thomas or
Hopkins shall be displaced and discharged from the said Office or
Employment of Governor or Keeper of the said House of Correction
by Order of the Justices of the Peace for the said County to be Assembled
at their General Quarter or General Sessions or the Major part of
them that then he the said Thomas Hopkins< no role > shall forthwith peaceably
Deliver up and Quit the Possession of the said House of the said
House of Correction with the Appurtenances and the Garden thereunto
lately Allotted and now there with used and the Goods and Utensils
belonging to the said County being in the said House of Correction
which shall be Specified in the Inventory or Account Annexed to the
Bond herein after mentioned to which Inventory or Account the said Thomas
Hopkins is to Subscribe his Name And also all such other Goods and
Utensils as shall hereafter be brought and Provided and placed in the
same House of Correction at the Charge of the said County (and
which are to be Added to the said Inventory or Account) in good plight
and Condition (reasonable Use and Wearing thereof Excepted) together
with the Prisoners committed to his Custody as Governor or Keeper
of the said House of Correction and remaining undischarged and all
Trees Plants Shrubs and other things in and belonging to the said
Garden in such manner and to such Person or Persons as he shall
be required to do by any Order of General Quarter or General
Session of the Peace for the said County And also that he the said Thomas
Hopkins do forthwith Enter into a Bond or Obligation unto Thomas
Lane, George Errington< no role > and Bartholomew Hammond< no role > Esquires
Justices of the Peace for this County in the Penal Sum of
