are committed to the Said House of Correction are So very poor
that they are not able to pay any fees and are therefore discharged
without the payment of any fees; And the Said Keeper praying
that this Court will please to grant him Some Allowance for his
Support and Management of the Said Prison, This Court upon
Consideration of the Premisses Doth Order that the Said Henry
Wallbanck be allowed and paid a yearly Salary of fifty Pounds
till further Order by this Court to commence from Michaelmas day
one thousand Seven hundred & fifty two for his Support and loss of
fees by Prisoners discharged who are not able to pay fees, and to
enable him the better to manage the Said Prison, And this Court
doth also Order that the Treasurer of this County for the time being
do out of the Moneys raised or to be raised by virtue of the an Act of
Parliament for the more easy assessing collecting and levying of
County Rates pay unto the Said Henry Wallbanck< no role > untill further
Order of the Court of General or Quarter Sessions of the Peace for this
County to the contrary the yearly Sum of fifty Pounds on account of
the Premisses aforesaid by four equal quarterly payments (to wit)
at Christmas day, Lady day, Midsummer day, and Michaelmas day
Yearly by even and equal Portions,The first payment to commence
from Michaelmas day One thousand Seven hundred & fifty two,
And that the Receipts of the Said Henry Wallbanck< no role > together with
this Order Shall from time to time be Sufficient discharges to the
Said Treasurer for the respective payments to be by him made
in pursuance of this Order.
