By Adjornment on Thursday the 22d. day of Feb: 1753 .

Order for reviving a former
order of Sessions against.
Drivers of wheelbarrows.
with Dice and throwers at
Cooks and for printing the
same}

It is ordered by this Court that an Order formerly made by the Court of
Sessions of the peace of this County for the suppressing an Evil Practice
of Persons driving Wheelbarrows and Dice and winning and defrauding
P [..] rentices and other unwary Persons of their money and also of
suppressing a disorderly Practice of Persons throwing at Cocks in a
riotous manner to the great Danger of his Majestys Subjects passing
along the streets be revived and that 500 of the said orders be printed
and sent to the high Constables to put the same in Execution and that the
Charge of printing the same be paid by the Treasurer of this County.

Order for Mr. Higgs the
Trearer to pay the [..] for the Window
lights of Hicks hall }

Information being given unto this Court by Mr. Thomas Northcote< no role >
House keeper of the sessions house called Hicks hall in St. John street
and Cryer of the Sessions of the peace forofthis County That the sum of two pounds
four shillings is Charged for the Duty upon the Window Lights of the said
Sessions house being forty two in number for one year ending at Lady
day 1753 which Sum the Collector of the said Duty doth demanded And the
said Mr. Northcote praying that this Court will please to give direction
for the Payment of the same This Court being satisfyed of the Truth of
the Premisses doth order that Mr. John Higgs< no role > Trearer of this County do
(out of the rents of the Estate belonging to the said County) pay to the
Collector of the said Duty the said Sum of two pounds four shillings assessed for the said duty for the window lights of the said Sessions house
for the said year ending at Lady day 1758 and that the same be allowed to
him upon his account and also that the said Treasurer do also out of the
said rents annually pay it to the Collector for the Time being such sums
of money as shall be assessed for the Duty upon the window lights of the
said Sessions house as the same shall be come due and that the
respective Sums of money by him from time to time so paid shall be
allowd to him upon his account.

By Adjornmt. on Thursday ye. 22d. day of Febry 1753.

Order for Mr. Higgs to retain
to his own use the sum of ten
Guineas for his trouble and
pains in transcribing publick
orders Etc into one volume
and for Mr. Higgs to pay
£10.19s.10d. to the Printer for
printing the same.}

His Majestys Justices of the peace for the County of Middx assembled in
Sessions having selected a Considerable number of publick orders made
by the Court of General Quarter and General Sessions of the peace
holden for the said County which Mr. John Higgs< no role > by their direction
transcribe into one volume in order to be printed and 500 of the said
Volumes are accordingly printed for the use of the said Justices of the
