together with a Remonstrance of the Churchwardens, Overseers
of the Poor and Inhabitants of the Several Parishes of St. Mary
Whitechapel and Christ Church against the Said Sir Samuel
Gower in Relation to the Premisses to be presented and laid
before his Lordship for his Consideration.

By adjournment on Thursday the 17th. Day of October 1751 .

of the Hundred of Isleworth
in the place & Stead of
Mr. John Singer< no role > .}

Upon the humble Petition of John Singer< no role > Gent . High Constable
of the hundred of Isleworth in this County Exhibited unto this
Court Settingforth That the Petitioner hath Served the said
Office for the Space of almost four years and hath accounted with
the Treasurer for the County Rates, And the Petr. praying
that he may be discharged from his said office of High Constable
And upon the Recommendation of James Clitherow< no role > and John
Derbyshire Birkhead
< no role > Esqrs . two of his Majestys Justices of the
Peace of this County residing in or near the Said Hundredtouching
touching a fit Person to be High Constable of the Said Hundred
This Court doth appoint William Stacey< no role > of the parish of
Isleworth within the Said Hundred in this County Gent . to be High
Constable of the Said Hundred of Isleworth in the place and
Stead of the Said John Singer< no role > , And doth Order that the Said
William Stacey< no role > do forthwith (after Notice of this Order) attend
One of his Majestys Justices of the Peace of this County and
residing in or near the Said Hundred and forthwith take his
Oath before Such Justice of the Peace for his due execution
of the Said Office of High Constable of the Hundred of Isleworth
aforesaid, And from and after the time of his having taken
Such Oath the Said Singer is to Stand absolutely
discharged from his Said Office of High Constable.
