Brentford Bridge
in Middx , and such
part of Chertsea
Bridge as is in the
same County are
out of repair}

To his Majesties Justices of the peace for the County of Middx
Assembled at the General Session of the Peace holden for the County
aforesaid at Hicks Hall in St. John Street in the same County by
Adjornment on Friday the Seventh day of September in the
thirteenth year of the Reign of our Sovereign Lord< no role > George the
Second King of Great Britain Etc.

Wee whose Names are hereunto Subscribed Jurors for our Lord
the King sworn and charged at this persent Session to Inquire
for our Lord the King for the Body of the said County Do hereby
Certify That wee having Examined several Credible persons upon
Oath It appeareth unto us And wee do accordingly upon our
Oath present that a certain Publick Bridge called Brentford
Bridge in the County aforesaid (which hath been heretofore
usually repaired and maintained at the Charge of the
Inhabitants of the said County) is very much out of repair
And that it is necessary that the said Bridge should be
Forthwith repaired, And that such part of another Publick
Bridge called Chertsea Bridge as is in the same County (which
part of the same Bridge hath been heretofore usually repaired
and maintained at the Charge of the Inhabitants of the said County)
is also very much out of repair, And that it is necessary that the
aforesaid part of the same Bridge should be also forthwith
repaired,
