And that
there may be occasion for a further Sum of money to be laid
out in doing Some further [..] necessary repairs thereto,
until money can be raised for the effectual repairing thereof,
the Same being now in great decay for want of repaire, It
is Ordered by this Court that it be And It is hereby referred
unto the Said Committee being formerly appointed to examine
into the repaires wanting to be done to the Said House of

direct Such further repaires to be done to the Said House of
Correction as they Shall upon their view think necessary to
be immediatly done to the Same not exceeding the Sum
of twelve pounds (over & above the Sums of three pounds
& five pounds above mentioned) And to See that Such further
repairs be done in a Substantial & workmanlike manner,
And that the money which Shall become due to any person
or persons for doing Such further repairs as Shall be directed
to be done by the Said Committee or any three of them
pursuant to this Order be paid by the Treasurer of this County
to Such person or persons to whom the Same Shall be due as
the Said Committee or any three of them Shall by writing
under their hands in that behalf direct & appoint, And the
Said Committee are desired to make a Report of what proceedings
they Shall make in the premisses in pursuance of this Order
to the Court of the next General Quarter Sessions of the peace
for this County.

Committee of his Maties Justices of the peace
of the Said
County appointed by an Order made in December Sessions
last to inquire (amongst other things) concerning repaires
requisite & necessary to be done to Hicks Hall
, It appeared
to the Court in January Sessions last that the Committee were
of opinion that the repairs following ought to be done to the
Said Hall (to wit)
The Court where the Justices Sit in Sessions to be painted
And also to be white washed.
