the Justices to whom the Sessions house & Estate at Clerkenwell
had been conveyed on the one part and Sir William Roberts< no role > &
other Justices of the other part, the Heir of the Said Surviving
Trustee did bargain & Sell to the Said Justices the Said Peice of
Ground on which the Sessions house was erected & also the
Said Estate at Clerkenwell on part of which a house of
Correction & Prison house was erected to the use of the Said
Justices, upon Trust that they Should permitt the premisses
to be employed for a Sessions house & a house of Correction
and a Prison for the Benefit of the Inhabitants of the County
& that the rents and Profits of the Said Estate Should be for
ever thereafter employed for the maintaining &
Continuance of the Said Sessions house, house of
Correction, and Prison house.

This is the Trust Deed wherein the rents and Profits are
agreed to be applyed as well to the maintaining and
Continuance of a Sessions house as to the house of Correction ,
and Prison, and all the Subsequent Deeds follow this Deed
and are in the Same words as to the application of the

Onslow Sir John Austen< no role > Bart . Sir George Cook< no role > Knight Hugh< no role >
Smithson Esqrs . Henry Barker< no role > Esqr . and Gideon Harvey< no role > Esqr.
we are of Opinion that new Trustees be nominated, to
whom a Conveyance may be made of the Said Estate, and
that a Conveyance be prepared for the Said Surviving
Trustees to Convey the Said Estate to Such new Trustees
and their Heirs, upon the like Trusts as are Specifyed in
the Said last Deed of Trust, and that a Draft of Such
Conveyance be laid before the Court at the next Quarter
Sessions,

Wee do further Certifye that there is now remaining in
the hands of Mr. John Higgs< no role > the Treasurer of this County
of the rents of the Said Estate the Sume of thirty one pounds
