Order concerning the
appointing a New high
Constable
of Finsbury
Division}
Whereas
Edward Hutchings< no role >
Gent
late high Constable
of Finsbury
Division within the Hundred of Ossulston in this County is lately dead,
And it being requisite that a new high Constable Should be forthwith
appointed for the Said Division It is Ordered by this Court that it be And It
is hereby recomended unto his Maties Justices of the peace
for this
County residing within the Same Division to assemble & meet
together at the Red Lyon Coffee house
in Red Lyon Street Clerkenwell
within the Same Division on Wednesday next at Six of the clock
in the afternoon to consider of a fit & proper person or persons for
high Constable
of the Said Division, And to retorn the Name or
Names of Such person or persons to this Court on Thursday next
at one of the clock in the afternoon, to the intent that this Court
may on that day appoint a fit & proper person to be high
Constables of the Same Division within the Said Hundred of
Ossulston
in the Stead & place of the Said

House of Correction
at Clerkenwell
}
It is Ordered by this Court that the delivering in a Report from the
Committee of Justices of the peace
for this County concerning repaires
wanting & necessary to be done to the House of Correction at
Clerkenwell
in the Said County be and the Same is hereby adjorned
untill the County day of the next General Sessions of the peace
to be holden for the said County, And in the mean time It is
hereby recomended unto the Said Committee (to wit) Thomas
