Ship the Plymouth hath exhibited his humble petition unto
this Court Setting forth That the petitioner whilst he
belonged to the aforesaid Ship (then under the command
of Captain
Timothy Bridge< no role >
) in the yeare one thousand
Seven hundred and twenty eight at port Royal in
Jamaica, as he was walking the Deck, had the misfortune
to loose his Sight by a most Sad and dreadfull Storm of
Thunder and Lightning, by reason whereof the petr.
is rendred totally uncapable of Serving the Government,
or of getting Subsistance to Support his Family, having
a wife and

the petr. humbly implored this Court (according to an
Act of Parliament made in the fourty third yeare of

and perpetuated in the third yeare
of King Charles the first) to grant unto the Petr. a
pension from this County, Now upon produceing of
proper Certificates to make out the truth of the Petrs.
case in Order to intitule him to be allowed a pension
from this County This Court being Satisfyed that the

this County and to have a Yearly pension allowed
