By Adjornmt. on Thursday the 16th. day of October
1735 .

Order touching the
allowing of the Account
of Trophy money}

Whereas by an Order made by the Court of General
Quarter Sessions of the peace holden for the County of
Middx by adjournment on Thursday the fourteenth day
of October in the fifth year of the reign of our Sovereign
Lord George the Second It was referred to a Committee of
his Maties Justices of the peace of the said County therein
named to peruse and inspect the Account of Trophy
money raised levyed or collected in the Said County and
of the payments & disbursements out of the same
produced before the Said Court by James Waller< no role > Gent
Clerk of the Lieutenancy of the Said County, and the
vouchers for such payments & disbursements,
And to report their opinions touching the Said Account
unto the Same Court Or else to the Court of the then next
General Quarter Sessions of the peace for the Said County
And a Report being made by the said Committee unto the
Court of the said next General Quarter Sessions of the peace
being holden for the Said County by Adjornment on
Thursday the thirteenth day of January in the same
year touching the said Account whereby it appeared
(amongst other things) that considerable Sums of
Trophy money were uncollected & in arreare The
Court of the Same General Quarter Sessions upon
reading of the said Report and on consideration had
of the Same was of opinion That according to the
intent & meaning of a Statue of the fourth & fifth
of the late Queen Ann, an Account of Trophy money
(wherein any Sums of money assessed are returned
to be uncollected & in arreare) [..] not to be
allowed by the Court of Quarter Sessions of the peace
for the Said County unless it be made appeare to the Said
Court that Such arrears cannot be recovered And It not
appearing to the Said Court that the arrears
mentioned in the Said Report cannot be recovered
The Court did not allow of the Said Account, Now upon
