Report in Writing touching the Premises unto the
Court of Generall Quarter or Generall Sessions of the
Peace for this County,

P adjorn Veneris 11o. die July 1729

to consider touching
the advanceing the
Allowance for the
Surplus Wine provided
for his Majestys Justices
of the Peace,

Application being made unto this Court on the behalf
of Mrs. Frances Seymour< no role > Wife of Christopher Seymour< no role >
Gentleman Housekeeper of Hicks hall and Cryer
of the Generall Quarter and Generall Sessions of
the Peace for this County praying that the Allowance
for the Surplus Wine provided for his Majestyes
Justices of the Peace of this County may be advanced
from Ten Pence to Twelve pence a Pint, It being
alledged as one reason among others that the
former Allowance was Twelve pence for each pint
but the Same was afterwards reduced, And that
Wine is now dearer than of late it hath been,
It is Ordered by this Court that the Consideration
of the Said Matter be adjourned untill the County
day of the next Generall Quarter Sessions of the
Peace for this County

Order for ascertaining
the Allowances of
Bailiffs Etc for lodging,
dyet & expences of
Prisoners in their
Custody ,

Whereas by a late Act of Parliament made in the
Second Yeare of the Reigne of his present Majesty King
George the Second, Intituled, An Act for the Reliefe
of Debtors with respect to the Imprisonment of
their Persons, It is (amongst other things) Enacted
that no Sheriff under Sheriff Bayliff, Serjeant at
Mace, or other Officer or Minister whatsoever
should at any time thereafter Convey or Carry
or cause to be Conveyed or Carryed any Person or
Persons by him or them Arrested or being in his or
their Custody by Vertue or colour of any Writt Process
or Warrant to any Tavern, Alehouse or other Publick
