Mariners within the said Hundreds to defray
the expence and charge of Strengthening and
repairing the said Prison since the time of the said
Joshua Walkers< no role > being appointed Keeper of the
same, And in case the Said Joshua Walker shall
make default in payment as aforesaid the Bond
by him given as Keeper of New Prison aforesaid
shall be put in Suit against him,

P adjorn Jovis 22o. die May 1729

Order for William
Cotesworth Esqr . the
Generall Trearer
to lay out any Sum
not exceeding £12.
for fixing Umbrellars
to the South & West
Windows of the Great
Dining Room of
Hicks hall ,

This Court haveing resolved that Umbrellars be
fixed up to the South and West Windows of the Great
Dining Room of Hicks hall in this County Doth
Order that William Cotesworth< no role > Esquire the Generall
Treasurer of this County be and he is hereby
desired and authorized to lay out any Sume of
Money not exceeding Twelve Pounds in putting
up and fixing good and substantiall Umbrellars
to the said South and West Windows of the Great
Dineing Room of Hicks hall aforesaid,
which Umbrellars are to be soe Contrived as
to be easily taken downe in the Winter Season< no role >
for the better preservation of the Same,

P adjorn Jovis 22o. die May 1729

Order for William
Cotesworth Esquire
the Generall Trear
to lay out a Sum not
exceeding 5 Guineas
in cleaning & amending
the Picture of St. Baptist
Hicks

It is Ordered by this Court that William
Cotesworth Esquire the Generall Treasurer
of this County be at Liberty to expend a Sum
not exceeding Five Guineas in procureing
the Originall Picture of Sir Baptist Hicks
the Founder of Hicks hall to be
and throughly cleaned and amended
