Cutter Maketh Oath & saith that having
A Summons to attend this Honble Court
on the 23d Day of Febry last as a Juryman
It was his Wash & full Intention to have paid
proper Obedience thereto, as he had invariably
done for near Twenty Years past without
having ever neglected, but having the this forteen
of being overturn'd in a Stage Coach with his
Wife on the Evening of the 22d whereby he was
much brused & render'd almost incapable of
attending, was the Occasion of his not being
at the Court on Times And further saith that
he did come to attend, but was too late, his
Name having been called, Most humbly hopes,
this Honble Court will please to excuse his
Fine, as the above Accident was the sole cause
of his not attending in Time
