William Pickett< no role > Esqr . Mayor of the City of London and are of his
Majestys Justices of the peace in and for the said City this 8th
day of December 1789 .

Who being upon Oath saith that on Saturday last about
four o'Clock in the Afternoon she was in Petty Coat Lane
aforesaid and saw aWaggonCart going along said Lane And
that she saw the person now present who Calls himself John
Akers go up to saidWaggonCart and take a Sack from off
the Shafts of saidWaggonCart and that the said John Akers< no role >
[..] ran down Bull Court andwith the said Sack.

of Essex Waggoner taken before Me William Pickett< no role > Esqr Mayor
of the City of London and one of his Majestys Justices of the peace in and
for the said City this 8th. day of December 1789 .

Who being upon Oath saith that on Saturday last he
received a Sack containing a Bombazeen petty coat and a Certain
[..] Order to Carvey the same to Joseph Ratcliffe< no role > at Plaistow
in Essex that he [..] ut the same on the Shafts of his
CartWaggonand saw came as he entered petty coat Lane
and [..] In a few Minutes afterwards he [..] fied said
Sack from off his saidWaggonCart That said petty coat and
Curtain is the property of the said Joseph Ratcliffe< no role >
