Wardens and Overseers of the Poor of the Parish of
Saint Mary White Chapel
in the County of Middlesex
Sheweth
That by an Order under the
hands and Seals of

and John
Hart Esquires
two of
His Majesty< no role >
's Justices of
the Peace for the City of London
and Liberties
thereof bearing Date the twenty third day of
February last past Elizabeth Grace Lawson Wife
of
Olive Lawson< no role >
and their Daughter Sophia Aged
Eighteen Months were removed and Conveyed
from and out of the Parish of Saint
Margaret Moses< no role >
in the said City of London
to the said Parish of
Saint Mary Matfellon otherwise White Chapel
as the place of their last
legal Settlement whereby Your Petitioners conceive
themselves to be Agrieved
Your Petitioners therefore humbly
Appeal Agst the said Order and pray
this Court that their said Appeal may be saved
unto them and that the Hearing and Determining
thereof may be Adjourned until the next General
Session of the Peace to be held for the said City
and that Your Petitioners may then have such
relief herein as shall be thought meet
