Middlesex to wit

The Information of Thomas Mainwaring< no role >
Esqr . of Barletts Buildings in the City of
London and Charles Seatonstaken before
me this 6th.. day of August 1781 .

Who being on Oath say and first the said Thomas Mainwaring< no role >
for himself says that a Person now present who calls
himself William Whitaker< no role > was his late Feetman and
cloped from this Informants. service on the 9th. day of July
last from Ashstead in the County of Surry. Says that
when he left Ashstead he feloniously took out of this
Informant's stable a Brown Horne this Informant's
Property and which Horse this Informant has reason
to believe was left the same Day by the said William
Whitaker at the Queens Head in Grays Inn Lane .
Says that on the same Day a Quantity of Silver Plate
consisting of one Salt; two table Spoons, twelve desert
Spoons, six new tea Spoons, a Mustardpot and Ladle,
seven old tea Spoons, a top of a Sugar caster, & the nozzle
of a Candlestick, was feloniuosly taken out of this Informants
House in Bartlette Buildings aforesaid and that a part of two broken tea Spoons
now produced he is very sure, are parts of two of
the tea Spoons so stolen from this Informant as aforesaid.
