Information was told by a lodger in the House who is since
dead that no person had come into the House in her Absence
says that She verily believes, the said Mary Young< no role > the
Prisoner at the Bar stole the said Watch and the several
other Things, as she did not again return to her Lodgings
nor did the said Charles Thompson< no role > the other prisoner
at the Bar,

And the said John Crawford< no role > for himself
saith, that on the eighth day of May last, the Prisoner
Charles Thompson< no role > , brought the gold Watch now produced,
said to be the Property of John Chambers< no role > , to the Shop of
William Windsor< no role > his Master in the Minories , and
desired to pledge the same for two GuineasSays, that
he accordingly lent the said Charles Thompson< no role > two Guineas
on the said gold Watch, and did not ask him any
Questions, because he had pawned two gold Watches
about a Year before and dedeemed them and Informant thought the
gold Watch now claimed by John Chambers< no role > , and pawned
in May last, was one of those two Watches,

And the said Robert Craike< no role > for himself
saith, that he has looked at the gold Watch now
produced, and he is perfectly satisfied that the hand
of the Figure Piece which regulates the said Watch,
is the same he put on, at the desire of the above
named John Chambers< no role > , about two Years ago, when
the said gold Watch was delivered to him by the
said John Chambers< no role > to be cleaned and mended.
