Bar Pawnbroker taken before me
this 13th. day of April 1780
Who being upon Oath say, and first the said John
Lutefoot saith, that this afternoon between the hours of three and four
a person now present who calls herself Jane Durman< no role >
came into this
Informants said Masters Shop with another Woman under pretence
of buying some Long Lawn Aprons, saith that neither she the said Jane Durman< no role >
nor the other Woman [..] purchased any thing, and that
immediately after they were gone he missed a flower'd Muslin Gown
which he is very sure is the Muslin Gown now produced and Stolen
out of his said Masters Shop as aforesaidAnd the said
John Salkeld< no role >
for himself saith that he found the said Muslin
Gown now produced upon the person of the said Jane Durman< no role >
concealed under her Cloak
