At the General Quarter Session of the Peace of our Lord the Kingholden
for the City of London
at the Guild hall
within the said City our Monday the
Twelfth Day of April in the Nineteenth Year of the Reign of our Sovereign
Lord George the third King of Great Britian Etc.
Whereas The Church Wardens and Overseers of the Poor of the Parish
of Saint Andrew Holborn
in the City of London
have exhibitted their
Petition and Appeal to this Court setting forth that by an Order under
the hands and Seals of two of his Majestys Justices of the Peace
for the
said City (one being of the Quorum) bearing date the fourth Day of March
last Sarah< no role >
Wife of John Mulhall< no role >
(who in the said Order is said to have
deserted
her) was removed from the Parish of Christ Church
in the said
City to the said Parish of Saint Andrew Holbourn as the place of her last
legal settlement And that the Petitioners conceiving themselves
aggrieved by the said Order humbly appealed against the same
Wherefore at the request of the said Petitioners His Ordered that the
benefit of the said Appeal be served unto them and that the hearing and
determination the of be and the same is hereby adjourned unto the
next General Session of the peace to be holden for the said City at the
Guild
hall aforesaid on Monday the seventeenth Day of May next
at Eight of the Clock in the Morning and that dece Notice hereof be
given unto the Church Wardens and Overseers of the Poor of the
said Parish of Christ Church
