The Humble Petition and appeal of
the Church Wardnes and Over Seers of
the Poor of the Parish of Saint at Hackney
in the County of Middlesex

Sheweth

That by a Warrant or Order bearing Date the
Twenty Seventh day of January in the year of our Lord
One Thousand Seven Hundred and Seventy Eight under
the Hands and Seals of the Sir James Esdaile< no role > knight and Evan
Pugh< no role > Esqrs . two of his Majesty's Justices of the Peace for
the City of London and the Liberties thereof (one being of
the Quorum) Mary Green< no role > Widow was removed from
the Parish of Saint Benedict otherwise Bennet Hick
London to the said Parish of Saint John at Hackney '
in the County of Middlesex the place of her last legal
Settlement
