The Humble Petition and appeal of
the Church Wardens and OverSeers of the Poor of
the Parish of Saint Paul Covent Garden within
the City and Liberty of West Minister in the County
of the Middlesex

Sheweth

That by virtue of a pass Warrant or Order under
the Hands and Seals of the Worshipfull Sir James
Esdaile< no role > Knight Lord Mayor of the said City of London
and Evan pay to Esquire one of the Alderman of the said
City of London and two of his Majesty's Justice of the
Peace nothing and for the said City of London Come
whereof being of the Quorum) bearing Date the saith
Day of February One Thousand Seven Hundred and
Seventy Eight Susannah Duttan< no role > a Lunatic was
reason from the Parish of Saint Katherine Cree
Church in the said City of London to the said Parish
of Saint Paul Covent Garden as the place of her
last legal Settlement Whereby your Petitioner's
them [..] themselves aggrieved and to appeal to their
Court against the names

Your Petitioner's therefore pray this Count
will be pleased to appoint a Day in this present
Session for the hearing and after morning of the
said appeal and that all persons concerned may
be taken directed to attend
